CEDARS IN SNOW by Dalsing

This is a souvenir of our Christmas blizzard and  "thunder snow".   While I had maybe 7-8 inches of snow at my place, there were drifts of 4 feet, perhaps more.  The storm was noisy at times with howling winds and  thunder,  very cold, and altogether beautiful.

  2. I hope you were painting from a photo.
As much as I like plein air painting, I could
never pull myself out the door if it was below 40.
    And overcast.
    Great palette knife work here.
    Nice painting, Betty.

  4. Well, Gil, it was from a photograph but I put on my boots, picked up my camera, and hiked out to get it. There have been some magnificent snow scenes the last few days.

  5. You make me want to put my boots on and get outside and paint, or just bring my camara. Great job, congrats!
